PAPER SUBMISSIONS (Deadline: February 21, 2010)

Now receiving submission at: https://precisionconference.com/~spatialCognition

To encourage an interdisciplinary conference, SC2010 will select talks based
on paper submissions of variable length. This will allow authors from
disciplines where conference publication may hinder journal publication to
enter shorter papers with limited empirical details to conserve the full
data for later journal submissions. Note that the shorter page length below
is equivalent (given format differences) to the 6-page papers published by
the Cognitive Science Society. Also, authors are encouraged to submit either
empirical studies or conceptual, theoretical or review work relevant to
spatial cognition.

Authors are invited to submit a full paper in PDF format by the deadline
indicated below. Papers must be written in English and describe original
work in at least one of the fields related to the conference topics. The
target length of paper contributions is 10 -17 pages (including abstract,
figures and references) in the Springer LNCS format (see
http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html). We strongly encourage
contributions from interdisciplinary and international collaborations.

The proceedings of Spatial Cognition 2010 will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science/Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence Series.

Papers accepted as full papers will be given 30 minutes for presentation and
discussion at the conference. Authors are also invited to submit new research results or descriptions of technical systems to be presented during the poster session. Submissions of posters and system demonstrations should consist of an extended abstract of 4 pages (including abstract, figures, and references).

At least one author of each accepted paper (full paper or poster) must
register for the conference and present the contribution. For more detailed
and continuously updated information, please visit the conference website at
http://www.spatial-cognition-2010.com/ or Spatial Cognition 2010 Submissions.
